Centum deepens Finmo partnership to power its next chapter

Thousands of Canadian mortgage professionals use Lender Spotlight – an online database of lender products and policies. Lender Spotlight makes it super easy to search for products that support BFS policies and help you arrive at a solution or recommendation for your clients.

Centum, one of Canada's leading mortgage networks, has named Finmo its preferred platform, formalizing an expanded partnership that integrates Finmo across the network's core broker systems.

This partnership builds on an existing relationship between the two companies, moving it from day-to-day collaboration to a deliberate, network-wide commitment. Under the partnership, Finmo will be integrated across Centum's [Advantage portal, Report Hubs, FinTrack Dashboard, Direct Pay, and Mortgage Monitor] — giving the network's [X] brokers a single connected workflow from client application through to payroll.

For Centum, the move is less about swapping one tool for another and more about the direction it wants to take its brokers. As competition for purchase and renewal volume intensifies across the country, networks are increasingly leaning on technology as the differentiator that lets brokers move faster and spend more time in front of clients.

A network investing in what's next

Centum frames the decision as an investment in the next chapter of its business, and one made with its brokers' day-to-day experience in mind.

"We're always looking to provide the best support for our agents, and having Finmo as our preferred platform is proof of that," said Adrian Schulz, CEO of Centum. "Our brokers need technology that's both cutting-edge and effortless to use — and that means better borrower experience and enhanced efficiency. Finmo delivers that, and it's why Centum has been working on elevating this collaboration."

The integration is designed to be additive rather than disruptive: brokers gain a more connected experience across the systems they already use, with the goal of continuity on the front end and less friction behind it.

Technology that works for brokers, not the other way around

Finmo's pitch has long centred on pairing depth of innovation with ease of adoption — a combination the company argues is rare in mortgage technology, where powerful tools often come with a steep learning curve.

"The best technology elevates a broker without becoming another task to manage," said Frank [VP Sales], Lendesk. "Finmo does that from day one — deep innovation that's genuinely easy to use, now integrated across all of Centum's core systems. The people who win are the brokers, who get to focus on their business and borrowers while the platform does the heavy lifting."

That accessibility extends through to the borrower, with a digital-first application experience meant to keep completion rates high and information clean before a file reaches a lender.

Preparing brokers for an AI-driven market

The partnership also lands as the industry turns its attention to artificial intelligence, and to the question of how quickly its benefits will reach the front lines of the broker channel.

"The industry is moving fast, and the networks that stay ahead will be the ones putting the most advanced tools directly in their brokers' hands," said Carter [President], Lendesk. "That's the platform we're building — powerful, and effortless to adopt. We're proud Centum chose Finmo, and we expect a lot more of the industry to follow."

The rollout across Centum's systems is expected to [begin / complete] in [timeframe], with brokers gaining access as each integration goes live.
