With the new year comes new beginnings. Today, I’m very excited to announce a new addition to the Lendesk team – please join me in welcoming Sean Wilson to the role of Chief Operating Officer.
Sean brings a wealth of knowledge to Lendesk, following extensive experience working for a diverse group of companies in Vancouver’s accounting and fintech industries. With over six years’ experience in CFO positions, the team and I are confident in the leadership and insight Sean is going to bring to the company. We are ever so grateful for his willingness to step into this role and hit the ground running.
Sean will be focused on overseeing Lendesk’s operations, and I look forward to working closely with him on this. In addition, Sean will be assuming several responsibilities previously held by our former CFO, Hashem Aboulhosn, who left the company in November 2019 to pursue other opportunities. We’re thankful for all of Hashem’s contributions spanning the time he was with Lendesk.
Without a doubt, Sean is joining the team at a time when we are continuing to make waves in the industry. Earlier this month, we announced the launch of the Lendesk Spotlight mobile app – a first-of-its-kind digital solution that offers convenience and reliability to our growing network of mortgage brokers, who are also increasingly on-the-go.
So far, 2020 is shaping up to be a great one and we are so appreciative of all of you for following along. We look forward to sharing more of the many exciting developments to come this year for Lendesk.
